BTS member J-hope has began his army enlistment course of, administration company BigHit Music confirmed on Sunday.

In a press release posted on the South Korean group’s fan neighborhood discussion board Weverse, the company mentioned the 29-year-old singer has utilized for “the termination of his enlistment postponement”.

“We want to inform our followers that j-hope has initiated the army enlistment course of by making use of for the termination of his enlistment postponement,” the assertion learn.

BigHit Music mentioned additional updates shall be shared with the ARMY– the fan group of BTS–in due course.

“We ask you on your continued love and help for j-hope till he completes his army service and safely returns. Our firm will spare no effort in offering help for our artist,” the company added.

Jin was the primary member from the boy band to be enlisted within the army. He started his 18 months of obligatory army service at a front-line South Korean boot camp in December.
