A profit jam will probably be held this Saturday to assist the household of bass participant Ken Martin.

“I did a present with him in December, and he was sturdy as an ox,” remembers Machura, who says Martin’s sickness progressed quickly.

“We had been doing the fundraiser already, now it is a memorial,” he says of his buddy.

Machura says musicians, and buddies will collect to lift funds for Martin’s household “and honour Ken’s years of contributions to the stay music scene within the Okanagan and past.”

Admission is by donation.
